WEST Devon Connect, the borough council's drop-in service, will be out and about in May bringing public services, charities and not-for-profit organisations to local communities.

The service aims to make it easier for West Devon residents to talk to professional advisors from organisations such as South West Water, Okehampton Library and Rethink, a support service for people with mental illness.

Other sessions will include representatives from the Royal National Institute for the Deaf's Action for Hearing group and LINk, Devon's voice for health and social care.

West Devon Connect will be at :

May 3 Hatherleigh Market from 9.30am– noon with South West Water, Rethink and Okehampton Library; May 6, The Burrow Café, Exbourne 10am–noon with LINk Devon; May 13 and 27, Whiddons Eatery, Chagford 9.30am–noon with LINk Devon; May 17, Hatherleigh Market from 9.30am–noon with RNID and Rethink; May 20, The Friday Market, Broadwoodkelly 10.30am–noon with LINk Devon.
