MOUNT House School had four netball teams in action, with honours even against Blundell's and the U11s and U10s both in winning form against Stover.

The match between Mount House U13As and Blundell's really was a game of two halves, with the home team winning the first half, then allowing Blundell's to win the second half by a bigger margin to give them a narrow victory.

The Mount House girls showed more technical skill than their opponents with much flatter and faster passing, but unfortunately their height disadvantage in the mid-court area meant that the Blundell's girls were able to play overhead shots to move the ball forward more quickly and efficiently into their circle.

Although the game ended as a defeat for Mount House by 11 to 13, they will have learned valuable lessons for the Bryanston Tournament.

In the U13s B match, after a steady quarter Mount House led 5-4 but as it became windier, the girls lost control of the game and at half time were a goal down at 7-6. But they came back to win 14-13 with Olivia McGonigle playing very well as centre and Sascha Lopes captained the side admirably.

The U11s' match against Stover resulted in a 5-4 win while the U10s made a really strong start to their season with a comfortable 17-1 victory.
