OKEHAMPTON Excelsior Silver Band are playing host once again to their partner band from Germany, Staadgard Wesseling, next week.
There will be two chances to catch the band performing in the town. On Monday, August 4, both bands will be playing at the Charter Hall. The free concert starts at 7.30pm.
The Wesseling band will also bring a touch of Teutonic atmosphere to the Red Lion Yard, on Wednesday, August 6, come along and listen from 2.30pm.
In addition to the performances in Okehampton, a busy week has been organised for the two bands, which includes playing at Ilfracombe, a hog roast and a number of visits to places of interest in West Devon.
