TAVISTOCK and District Chamber of Commerce is due to launch its new website as part of a corporate rebranding for the organisation.
The new website, tdcc.business has a section for useful information, a calendar of events in the Tavistock area, a directory of the businesses that are members, a facility to join the Chamber online, articles about members and the new logo, which is part of a new corporate look being adopted by the Chamber of Commerce.
The website has been designed by digital marketing expert and Chamber social media secretary Clair Wellsbury-Nye, with the logo and branding having been designed by fellow Chamber member Tim Roberts.
The new logo has a new strapline that typifies the Chamber’s ethos; ‘Driven by our members for our members’.
While giving a presentation on the new website at the latest Chamber meeting, Clair said: ‘If members want something on the website, put it forward and we can do that and use it on the site.
‘We have the same approach to meetings, which is that at our meetings, whatever members want to happen is what will happen. We want to live by our strapline and be driven by our members.’
A presentation showcasing the Chamber’s new identity will be held at the Chamber’s next breakfast meeting at the Bedford Hotel on Thursday, September 21.
