A FILM featuring scenes shot at Burrator Reservoir and another Dartmoor location has won a BAFTA.
'Swimmer' which is described as 'a poetic journey through the waterways and coastline of the British Isles, following a lone swimmer through lakes, rivers and covers' was crowned best short film.
Burrator Reservoir and Spitchwick Common near Widecombe-in-the-moor were chosen to shoot scenes from the film inspired by the Olympics.
The film is by British director Lynne Ramsey who received worldwide acclaimed for her adaptation of Lionel Shriver's novel 'We Need to Talk About Kevin'.
Among the cast members in Swimmer are young people from Devon and Cornwall, including Jasper Martin from Tideford, who was eight at the time.
