CROWDS gathered at Oxfam in Tavistock recently for the shop's 'Buskfest' event, raising £185 for the charity.
This is the second successful Buskfest the shop has held, with various bands and artists performing in the shop throughout the day-long event.
Acts included the Kit Hill-Billies and Vinyl for Survival with 'DJXL' Paul Turner, who volunteers at the shop. There were also a number of younger artists at the event.
Shop manager Jackie Theobald was delighted with the amount raised, which will go towards Disasters Emergency Committee's East Africa Crisis Appeal.
The Disasters Emergency Committee is an umbrella organisation for 14 humanitarian aid agencies, including Oxfam. The current appeal, East Africa Crisis Appeal, is to help ten million people at risk.
