AMANDA Jane Mrozinski Brewer and Dawn Wood from Princetown, braved the cold weather and cold water on New Year's Day in aid of a number of charities.

Amanda Jane raised £180 for Greyhound Rescue West of England, £250 for Bristol DAWG and £400 for Galgos Del Sol who all do amazing work rescuing and rehoming greyhounds, lurchers, the Spanish Galgos and Canary Island Podencos. Dawn raised £520 for Princetown United Church's heating fund.
