Ilfracombe U13s 1 Okehampton Argyle U13s 13 OKEHAMPTON looked positive from the start when a great corner from Bradley Ausden found Alex Donnally who headed it home within the first minute. The Okehampton players were seeing all the action and were soon four up after another from Bradley and one each from Andy Milton and Tom Boother. Some excellent play in midfield gave Bradley the chance for his hat-trick whilst Luke Jefferies had an effort turned away with a good save from Ifracombe's keeper. Two more goals quickly followed from Bradley and Oliver Squire to take it 0-7. In the second half Ilfracombe tightened up the defence but were still unable to prevent Okehampton scoring with Oliver scoring two quick goals to give him his hat-trick. Despite the large lead Okehampton didn't take the foot off the gas and saw goals from Bradley and an excellent free kick from Corey Burns. Against the run of play Ilfracombe saw a chance and scored a good goal to make it 1-12. With little time left to play Tom Boother put a good ball in for Bradley to finish giving him his seventh of the match. Man of the match: Corey Burns.
Okehampton U13s 2 Blues and Appledore U13s 1 Okehampton seemed to have the edge over the Blues and Thomas Boother was unlucky not to score early on. Argyle continued to play some lovely football and had lots of opportunity to score but the ball just could not find the back of the net and the score remained 0-0 at half time. Haydn Bond in goal produced some excellent saved but was unable to prevent the Blues scoring against the run of play when a 'pass back' went wrong. Haniell Laybourn came on as sub for Argyle and very nearly scored. The Blues keeper continued to deny Okehampton but they kept up the pressure and were rewarded with a goal from Luke Aldin. Okehampton raised their game some good play from Haniell saw the ball flicked on to Bradley Ausden who scored. With minutes to go Blues were awarded a free kick which Haydn saved well. A well battled game for Okehampton, with Alex Donnally and Tom Bullingham staying strong in defence. Man of the match: Tom Bullingham.
