North Okes U11s 15 Sidmouth U11s 10 THIS was an evenly matched game played on a muddy small pitch. Will Cooper adjusted his kicking to suit the conditions. Edward Penrose made some exciting breaks using his natural side step, Johnathan Aylen picked up all the loose ball and Alfie Hawker kept the ball alive by passing out of the tackle. In the second half North Okes used the slope to their advantage. Patrick Webb, Callum Barber, Josh Punchard and Ike Francis in the pack provided the drive, and Luke Liversidge supplied the backs with good ball. Alfie Lawson had his best game, putting ins some good tackles. North Okes U10 North Okes travelled to Sidmouth and played well. In the first match they won 30-10. They dominated the play in Sidmouth?s half for most of the game and were unlucky to concede the two tries as their defensive play was tough. In their second match they won 40-5, with some excellent tries. The tries were a team effort, with lots of fluid passing to allow scores to be made. Sidmouth U8s Okehampton U8s THE first half was a closely fought game with four tries to Sidmouth and three to Okehampton, Ross Davidson scoring and and Joe Mawle scoring two. With great support running from the team they were unlucky not to be in the lead at half-time. However, the game turned in the second half with Sidmouth running in five tries with no reply from Okehampton. Training starts this Friday at 6pm. Okehampton U7s 8 Exeter U7s 4 GOOD tagging from the Okehampton side kept Exeter on their side for a lot of the game. The tries were by Leon 3, Corie 2, Gregory 2 and Joseph. Okehampton U7s 2 tries Sidmouth U7s 3 tries A GOOD even game with each side playing well, Okehampton just losing out to Sidmouth in the last second of the game. The two tries were scored by Joseph.
