Police are asking for help in recovering a six year old boy's pocket money.

The youngster came out to spend his pocket money in Tavistock for the first time on Saturday August 4. His saved-up pocket money was in a black 'Batman' wallet with a red border.

He went into the toy shop and shortly after noticed he had dropped the wallet. A person was seen to pick up a wallet of a similar description outside WH Smith.

The wallet has not been handed in to date, but police said this may be because the police office is not manned.

Officers have promised to do their best to get the wallet back to the young boy so if anyone can help, please either drop the wallet in the letter box at the police office or contact police on 101.
