A NEW support group is being launched in areas across West Devon and East Cornwall to help people who are affected by bowel cancer.

The Plymouth and District Bowel Cancer Support Group will be holding informal meetings to support local people suffering from bowel cancer, colorectal cancer or stoma as well as their families.

The group, which has been set up by people with these illnesses, is an opportunity for sufferers living in areas, including Tavistock, Yelverton, Gunnislake and Callington to meet up and support one another.
