BOVEY Tracey pushed Premier Division Tavistock hard in an entertaining encounter at the Western Counties Roofing Ground.
Bovey opened the scoring in the 11th minute after Ben Robinson had been pulled back in the box for a penalty that Dan Taylor converted.
A close range effort from Chris Menhenick in the 33rd minute pulled the Lambs level, and three goals early in the second half put the visitors firmly in control.
Firstly Mike Southgate rifled home in the 50th minute and six minutes later he repeated the trick with Ryan Honey adding a fourth moments afterwards.
Bovey did not capitulate and pulled a goal back when Robinson rounded Tavistock goalkeeper Andy Meeds to score on the hour before Mark Dyson's fine effort in the 75th minute set up a grandstand finish that saw the visitors just hold on to progress to the next round.
