DURING this football season on Sunday mornings Plymouth Argyle Centre of Excellence youth teams from the U9 age group up to the U15 age group have been playing their games at Crowndale football pitches.
Martin Harris, a spokesman for TCFC, said: 'The draw to the area was the fantastic new facilities on and off the pitch and the services TCFC can provide on match days such as first class changing rooms and pitches, hot and cold food from our licensed food trailer, indoor area's for bad weather conditions and toilets.'
There are fixtures most Sundays with the next ones being on the October 30 against Cheltenham with there U9, U11, U13 and U15 teams and on November 6 against arch rivals Exeter both kicking off at 11am with the U9, U11 and U13 teams in action.
Other professional teams that will be coming to Crowndale are Torquay (November 13), Oxford (December 4 and 11), Swansea, Bournemouth Yeovil and Swindon.
Martin added: 'Tavistock AFC, the areas senior side, are also supportive of these events and Junior football development by allowing the use of Langsford Park when it is available and fit to be played on.
'Volunteers are also needed for Saturdays and Sundays to marshal car parking and generally help to run what can be very busy events.'
