THERE is an opportunity to learn more about photography and international conservation with two special events organised by Cornwall Council at Kit Hill.

On Sunday February 21 there's a chance to view the Tamar Valley through a camera lens. Participants will learn how to compose shots and take both wide angle and close up photos.

The session takes place from 9am to noon and begins at Kit Hill summit car park. The cost is £2 for adults, £1.50 for concessions and under 16s or £6 for families.

On Monday February 22 there will be a screening of a film showing the diverse and often dangerous work of conservation rangers around the world.

The evening runs from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Louis Tea Room, near Kit Hill. The event costs £5. Booking is essential — ring 01872 323468.
