IT?S been 18 months in the making and those who have been waiting to get their hands on the Okehampton book in the Halsgrove community history series need wait no longer.
The book, written and compiled by Ursula and Roy Radford, who were behind the successful ?South Tawton and South Zeal ? 1,000 Years Beneath the Beacon? is being launched today (Thursday) at JC Books in Okehampton.
The Radfords, who mixed historical background with personal stories, hundreds of photographs and memorabilia, will be signing books between 2pm and 4pm.
