Okehampton seconds went into their penultimate match knowing only win would keep their title ambitions alive.
Straight from the off Oke took control having numerous chances from Jake Lloyd, Josh Balsdon and Will Cooper it was only a matter of time before they opened the scoring. Hayden Bond found himself free after 10 minutes in the game to coolly place ball in the centre of the goal.
The away side were in total control and quickly doubled their lead after a pinpoint pass going across the Ashmoor goal to find Daan Rademaker to tap the ball in. Okehampton reduced the home side to attempt counter attacks only to run into a brick wall in Will Cooper who was exceptional as the holding midfielder and with playmaker Jake Lloyd tearing up the Ashmoor defence visitors scored through Reinier Rademaker and then man of the match Bond to make it 4-0 at half time.
The second half continued in the same manner and Oke scored their fifth with Reinier Rademaker scoring his second before a Josh Balsdon thunderous strike made it six.
Ashmoor got their first shot on target five minutes before the end of the game but it was easily saved by keeper Pete Sim.
Okehampton went back on the offensive with Scott Bending coming close but unable to his shot away before Hayden Bond completed his hat-trick to make it 7-0. This was a good result and keeps Okehampton in the title picture who face top of the table Torbay in a winner wins the league match.
