THE Okehampton Junior Golf team travelled to Tiverton on Sunday for their first match in the EDJL season. A mixture of experience and new blood proved to be a good blend as Okehampton won 4 matches and lost 2 for a very good away win. New captain James Weller won his match on the last to get the first point for Okehampton with Jonny Rattenbury and Daniel Curtis having decisive wins to guarantee at least three points for Okehampton. In the last match on the course Lawrence Waldron approached the 18th all square with the rest of the team gathered round the green. The Tiverton player thinned his approach through the green and could only get down for 6. Lawrence made a five to win the hole and ensure a decisive victory for Okehampton. Okehampton Team ?
