TAVISTOCK?S popular live music event, Acoustic Café, celebrates its fourth birthday this Saturday.
In the four years since it was established as a fundraising event, the musical meet has donated more than £8,000 to local charities and good causes including Tavistock Farmers? Market, West Devon West Africa Link, the Molly Owen Centre and Riding for the Disabled.
The Café has seen more than 300 acts on stage ranging from classical guitarists to jugglers.
This month the United Reformed Church hall will play host to local musicians including singer Howard Irons and guitarist Andrew Cassidy.
A selection of good value home cooked food and soft drinks will be on sale ? diners are welcome to bring their own beer or wine.
Doors open at 8pm ?admission costs £4.00.
