A BIRD watching walk for beginners takes place at Burrator this Saturday February 26.

The walk, to be led by Jen Gardner, assistant conservation officer of South West Lakes Trust, starts at 8.30am and will last two and a half hours.

Birds will be identified by sight and song — most resident birds will be starting to find their voices for spring, so it is a good time to get to grips with these before the migratory species arrive.
