l TAVISTOCK Lions’ president Richard Jones received a £1.200 cheque from Tavistock Athletic Club following the Town Relay Races held during Carnival Week in the Meadows from TAC junior runner and age group winner Joe Dix. TAC have organised the popular event for many years and donate the proceeds to the Lions’ Club, who organise the carnival.
