THE community of Delaware flooded in to the primary school last week for the Big Breakfast and Table Top Sale — helping to raise more than £340.

Stall holders arrived in force and the chef was busy in the kitchen, assisted by members from the 1st Stoke Climsland Explorers, chair of governors and headteacher, who used all their strength to resist the sausages supplied by Tamar Valley Butchers in Gunnislake.

More than 30 orders were taken, with table after table arriving until after midday.

The amount raised will be shared between PTA funds and Jessica Tait's Explorer Belt expedition to the Czech Republic.

Thanks were expressed to all the staff and PTA members from Delaware School who helped out in preparation and on the day.
