Exbourne and Jacobstowe Community Association held another successful Community Market and Big Breakfast on Saturday November 1.

Proceeds were in excess of £1,200 and many of the local food producers took lots of orders for Christmas.

The breakfast team were also kept busy, serving 60 breakfasts to hungry shoppers.

The community association expressed thanks to all who came and supported the event, in particular the volunteers who set up the hall, cooked the breakfasts and ran the stalls on the day.

A date has already been set for the summer market — Saturday June 6 2009.
