STAFF at the Manor House Hotel near Okehampton raised £1,000 from their monthly draw which has funded new equipment for Okehampton Youth Club.
The club, which was reopened last year, now has a huge range of games, toys and activities available for the children who attend the club on Wednesday nights.
Paul Chasty, who took over the running of the youth club with his wife Elaine, has expressed his thanks to the hotel staff and other groups within the community who had so generously supported the club.
The group meets from 6.30pm to 8.30pm in the Community Centre at Okehampton College.
