OKEHAMPTON Cycles celebrated its 21st birthday in style at the weekend with a 'big bike' event.

Among the attractions at the store were a vintage 1920s delivery bicycle owned by Valerie Harvey. The bike was used for deliveries from the EG Bolt Post Office and Stores at Whiddon Down, which was run by Valerie's family.

Special guest at the event was Chris Cork from Northlew who has recently taken part in the Dakar Rally. He brought with him his trusty Husqvarna motorbike that carried him through the gruelling event.
