THE Okehampton BID (Business Improvement District) team is inviting the town's business people and any interested residents to the second public meeting on the scheme next week.

The meeting on Wednesday April 18 is opening up to businesses in the industrial estates and outskirts of town. The first meeting focused on looking at the town centre, and showing what a BID can do for businesses based in the heart of Okehampton.

The second meeting will have a broader focus on how the whole town could benefit from the scheme, particularly businesses on industrial estates.

The team is currently in the process of confirming a guest speaker for the second meeting.

The meeting runs from 6pm to 8pm in the White Hart Hotel.
