THIS was the best performance of the season to date against a team undefeated for two years.

It was ten minutes before half-time when Andrew North linked up with James Ewen to score from a blind side move. The conversion was by North.

Exmouth threw everything they had at the visitors but the score remained unchanged up to half-time.

From the restart it was North/Okes turn to put the pressure on and from a scrum ten metres out Ewen picked up from the base and fought his way over to score. Conversion by North.

The third try was a repeat of the first with Ewen feeding North who powered his way over on the blind side. Converted by North.

North/Okes? final try came from quick hands via Andrew North, Darcy Heard, Cameron Rickerby to Samantha Robertson who crashed through the defence to score an excellent team try. Again conversion by North.

The points may have come from the backs but the game was won by the forwards, Andrew Fishleigh, Will Hawkins, Rob Steptoe, James Speak and Merrick Kirby. Andrew Fishleigh and Rob Steptoe had outstanding games.
