TWELVE teams put their best collective feet forward to raise £1,060 for Children in Need in this year's Okehampton Round Table 5-legged race.
Teams of four were tied together at the ankles and visited seven pubs around Okehampton, with at least one team member consuming a drink at each hostelry.
Bottles of Cava, donated by Waitrose, were up for grabs as prizes, with the winners judged by mayor of Okehampton Michael Morse.
The main prize, which also included a trophy, was won by 'The Plymouth Inn Sumos', who raised the most sponsorship. They also won prizes for the best women's fancy dress and the winning ladies' team, crossing the line in just under 20 minutes.
The 'Broke Back Indians' won the best mixed fancy dress and were also the first home.
James Stevens from the Round Table was thrilled: 'The evening was once again a huge success and a great deal of fun.'
The organisers expressed thanks to St John Ambulance, and all those who took part and made donations.
