A PRINCETOWN brewer has received yet another prestigious accolade to add to his growing list of commendations.
Simon Loveless of Princetown Brewery has been awarded the top prize in the best bitter category at the South Devon CAMRA Beer Festival in Newton Abbot.
In addition, the brewery's Dartmoor IPA won third prize overall in the beer of the festival competition.
Simon was presented with his winning certificates by Dean Roberts and Ian Packham of Newton Abbot CAMRA at a special award ceremony at the Prince of Wales pub in Princetown, where the brewery is based.
Landlord Steve Baker said: 'Being the brewery tap for Simon's three ales, Jail Ale, Dartmoor IPA and Dartmoor Royal Stout, has greatly contributed to our success over the last 14 months.'
Princetown Brewery was founded by Simon in 1994 and since then, he has consistently achieved success for his beers at a variety of beer festivals, including a top prize in the best bitter class at the Cornwall Real Ale Festival held in St Ives last year.
