BERE Alston seconds beat top of the league Looe in a hard fought battle.
Play went from end to end but with a first half goal from Graham Galway they took a well deserved lead.
Looe fought back and equalised shortly before half time. Bere Alston won the game when James Burns met a superb cross.
It was an excellent win for the second team who now move up to fifth with games in hand on those teams above them.
* By contrast it was not such a good day for Bere Alston first team who went down 7-0 in the East Cornwall premier to second place Bude Town.
