DJM U12 Hood Tavistock Town U12s 3 Kitto Parkway U12s 3 TAVISTOCK took the lead within five minutes after Ben Cole's successful one on one with Kitto's keeper, but the home team failed to keep the advantage when a high ball beat Town's goalise Josh McDonald's out stretched hands 10 minutes later. The home side were the better team in the first half with Kitto's defenders having to work harder than Town's back four. Tavistock's midfield supplied some great balls for player of the match Courtney Fry to latch on to, and towards the end of the half Cole had a great chance to score again but the final touch let him down.  Five minutes into the second half Tavistock took the lead for the second time with a contender for goal of the month. The ball was crossed to Billy Barryball whose one touch flicked the ball for Tom Green to shoot with his left foot in the back of the net, but again Kitto replied to make it 2-2. Town's back four had to work harder with Will Carter clearing high balls and Danny Hamill's goal saving tackles. With 10 minutes left of the game Kitto took the lead for the first time but the Tavistock boys were determined not to lose and when they were awarded a corner in the last five minutes Ben Cole's headed the ball into the back of the net for his brace.
