Okehampton Argyle U14s 6 Axminster U14s 0 OKEHAMPTON started well and Andy had a good shot with a lovely through ball from Bradley in the early stages of the game. Alex Donnelly put through a ball to Bradley who made an excellent strike but saw it turned away with a good save from the Axminster keeper. Okehampton kept up the pressure and were awarded a free kick just outside the area which Hanniell took well for Ben Williams to just get his head to it to open the scoring. Ben was instrumental in the next goal when he gave a long throw to Andy?s feet. The keeper didn?t clear it well enough and it fell to Corey who scored to make it 2-0. Corey got his second after the ball was deflected into the goal after some excellent play from Harry Smith in the middle. A lovely flick on from Harry for Ben to score an excellent goal in the top corner gave Okehampton their fourth. The second half started very quietly with most of the play remaining in the centre. Ben then made a good run and crossed it in to Bradley who volleyed it home ? however controversially it was deemed to be offside. Moments later Okehampton were awarded a penalty which Corey slotted home. In the last few moments Ben scored again to make it six. Honiton U12s 3 Okehampton Argyle U12s 0 OKEHAMPTON got off to a slow start and were lucky when Honiton ran half the pitch seeing the ball just going wide. Argyle never got into the game and only created a few chances at goal. The Argyle defenders worked hard but Honiton soon took the lead. Okehampton?s heads went down and Honiton scored two more goals. Honiton took their chances in a game where neither team was at its best. Okehampton Argyle U11s 9 Lyme Regis U11s 0 THE home team started well immediately applying pressure on the Regis goal. After good attempts from Ben Jarvis and Ben Bickle, Argyle took the lead from a great ball from defender Ben Barkwill to Ross Voaden who found the back of the net. Okehampton continued to dominate and the second goal came soon after from a super strike from Ben Bickle just under the crossbar. Callum Goodwin and Ross Voaden teamed up well with Callum scoring two goals to make the score 4-0 at half time. The second half continued much in the same vein with Argyle finding it hard to keep their structured play with not much need for defending or goalkeeping against a much weaker team. Lyme Regis?s only chance with a clear shot at goal was expertly dealt with by goal keeper Aaron Dearing. A further five goals were scored, Ben Jarvis (2), Sam Whalley, Ross and Callum completed his hat-trick. Okehampton Argyle U11s 7 Seaton U11s 2 ARGYLE opened the scoring by a long range shot from Jamie Mallet finding space between the keeper?s legs. Twelve minutes into the game Ben Jarvis for the home team connected with the ball in a goalmouth scramble and blasted it into the back of the net. The Okehampton boys took their foot off the pedal for the remaining 15 minutes and Seaton seized their chance to pull a goal back. An own goal by Argyle levelled the scoring to 2-2 at half time. Ross Voaden pulled Argyle ahead after a good pass from Nathan Andrew. Argyle continued to dominate the play and Ross running on to a nice through ball by Jamie Mallett scored again. Ross Voaden scored his hat-trick when he volleyed home a cross by Nathan Andrew. A solo effort from the halfway line outpacing two defenders and placing the ball in the corner earned Ross Voaden his fourth goal of the day. Shortly before the final whistle a great cross from Tallan Burns was knocked into the net by Dan Hornibrook.
