A TEDDY Bears? Picnic held at New Park Farm, Bere Ferrers, recently raised a magnificent £230 for St Andrew?s Church.
There were many games and attractions, including a treasure hunt.
Mrs Bear was kept busy selling ice-creams, Rupert Bear was on hand to amuse the children and Goldilocks and Daddy Bear judged the competitions to find the smallest, oldest, best dressed and most loveable teddy bears.
l Holy Trinity Church in Bere Alston raised the splendid sum of £742 at their summer fair.
