WHITCHURCH Pre-school held an eventful sports day last week.

The children took part in lots of different sporting activities, including throwing bean bags, egg and spoon races, balancing, running, hurdling and racing with Space Hoppers.

They were cheered on by family and friends, who then stayed for a barbecue, face painting and sales tables.

The event raised £150 towards the pre-school renovation fund.

Thanks were expressed to all those involved.
