TAVISTOCK Lions Club is running its popular Christmas draw at present — with a great prize to be won.

Artist David Chambers, whose work is being exhibited in Tavistock Picture Fram-ing Gallery on Plymouth Road Industrial Estate this Saturday, has donated an original painting worth £1,000 as the prize for the draw.

Draw tickets can be obtained from Lions members in Bedford Square on Saturday or Tavistock Picture Framing Gallery in Duke Street or on the industrial estate.

The draw takes place on Monday, December 9, with all proceeds going towards the Meadows playpark.
