BATS (Bere Alston Trekkers) held their annual 'Big Breakfast' last weekend and sold a bumper number of breakfasts, bacon sandwiches and cakes.
Using the new facilities of the parish hall, the Bats were able to keep up with the non-stop menu orders.
Within the first hour and half supplies were depleted and Bats were despatched, more than once, for further supplies in order to keep up with demand.
The event raised £750 which will be used to fund the clubs first road race on May 1.
The Bats would like to thank everyone within the community for their donations, for coming to the event and for their continued support.
