THERE's an opportunity to dance the night away — and raise money for a good cause at a barn dance at Buckland Abbey this Saturday. Buckland Area Supporters' Group of Children's Hospice South West are holding the dance in the Abbey's Great Barn. Music will be by the band 'Smiley Boots', who have played at various Devon venues, including Dartmouth Royal Naval College. The barn dance starts at 8pm with pasties and cider in the interval included in the price of tickets, £12.50. The event is in aid of the Precious Lives Appeal for the building of a children's hospice in Cornwall.
