ARE there any percussionists out there?
Stannary Brass Band will have a vacancy for an experienced percussionist when the Band's long standing resident player Rosie Fierek leaves. Rosie will no longer be able to play due to other commitments. There will be a hand-over period that can be agreed upon.
This well-known local band has a full diary of bookings over the next six months and any percussionist who is interested in joining can meet the band on any Wednesday evening from 7.30pm or Sunday morning from 10.30am at West Devon Borough offices, Kilworthy Hill, Tavistock.
Band press officer Stephen Gray said: 'As many local people are aware, we are a large friendly brass band that plays at fêtes, charity events etc, so anyone joining us can be assured of a welcome and a busy schedule!'
