THE partners of Waitrose in Okehampton have clearly been inspired by the BBC series Great British Bake-Off, as the store held its own bakery challenge.

Rachel Hole organised the 'Partners' Bake-Off Challenge' to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Some lucky store partners including, manager Graham Morris, had the difficult decision of choosing a winner from all the baking delights on offer.

There was a fantastic spread of cakes, buns, cookies and other treats and once judging was finished, the store's partners were invited to tuck in.
