WHITCHURCH Cubs and Scouts made a special presentation to charity recently, following a fundraising effort by the boys and girls.

Funds were collected during bag packing at Tesco Callington earlier this year. The 17 cubs and scouts worked for four hours to raise more than £300 for Oxfam, and towards scout group funds.

Oxfam gave a presentation to the cubs and scouts, which inspired them to raise money.

Their efforts will help them to gain their global badge.

Oxfam will spend the donation in countries throughout the world, enabling the charity to fund two teachers, educate a child, a rainwater collector, or other projects.
