NERVES were evident as Okehampton took to the field and Services had an early score.

Okehampton began to realise that they could compete and began to take control of the set pieces with Dymond and Moyes scrummaging well, resulting in a try for Bush orchestrated by a fine charge by Folland and converted by the gifted Wilkins.

Now the battle commenced with many hard yards being lost and gained in a very tough game.

Injuries to Balch, Dymond and Penberthy took their toll with the visitors changing most of their pack at half time, it became backs to the wall for Okehampton who still stuck to their task.

A week off next week prior to a cup game at Tavistock gives time for the injuries to heal.
