FORMER students of Tavistock College were honoured at a special awards ceremony at Plymouth College of Art recently.
The ceremony was part of the end of year summer show celebrations and among the winners were Chris Dorey, Sophie Bentley, Michelle Luke and Ben Furneaux.
Chris, a BA photomedia and design communication student, won the Gusto Creative Award for demonstrating innovation and a fresh creative approach to his work. Ali Wylie from Gusto Creative presented him with his award.
Sophie Bentley,who was on the national diploma craft design course, was selected as the outstanding 3D design student and presented with her prize by Tom Craik from sponsor Deltor.
Michelle Luke and Ben Furneaux, national diploma design for multimedia, were jointly awarded the LSDA multimedia award for continuous outstanding work in multimedia design.
