AWARDS were presented at Stannary Brass Band's recent annual meeting to players who had made exceptional progress or who deserved credit for the help they had given towards the smooth running of the band.

The band's next performance is at Shaugh Prior Village Hall on Saturday March 23 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 on the door and there will also be a raffle and refreshments of tea and cake.

Proceeds will benefit the band and St Edward's Church.
