NIGHTLINK, a telephone support line which recently received a national award, is currently looking for more volunteers in the Tavistock area. Nightlink, which is run by a mixture of experienced volunteers and paid workers, supports 400 callers each month and has become an important service in Devon and Cornwall. If you are interested in becoming a Nightlink volunteer, telephone 01872 263003. Nightlink is available to anyone who needs support every night from 8pm to 1am during August, and 5pm to midnight any other time. The telephone number is 0808 8000306.
