LUCY Redman, a sixth form pupil at Mount House School, Tavistock has been awarded an Art Scholarship to Sherborne Girls' School in Dorset. Lucy, who lives at Yelverton, will join her two sisters, Emily and Hannah, at Sherborne when she leaves Mount House in the summer.

During her time at Mount House, Lucy has shown herself to be an outstanding young artist who is always keen to be in the art studio working on her latest project.

She is also an excellent sportswoman. She captained the 1st VII hockey team in the Christmas term, leading them through an unbeaten season. She was the top scorer for last year's rounders U12 A team and played for the U13 B. Lucy has been a regular player in the school's netball teams

Lucy also enjoys participating in school plays. She has a small part in this year's senior play 'The Book Ends', which comes to the stage towards the end of the Easter term.
