AUTHOR Tania Crosse, known as the 'Catherine Cookson of Hound of the Baskerville Country', will share a cream tea with guests and present her latest novel, The Wrong Side of Happiness, at Okehampton Library next week.

The author's novels, which include The River Girl, Cherrybrook Rose and Hope at Holly Cottage, are all based on and around Dartmoor, and provide a vivid and evocative insight into local history.

Tania is rated among the top five per cent of authors for library loans in the UK, and her books are now being published in the US and translated into European languages.

Suppported by Friends of Okehampton Library, the event takes place in the library on Wednesday October 12 at 2pm.
