TAVISTOCK Cricket Club president Stuart Munday welcomes a new cricketer onto the team. Aussie Peter Brown, 26, will be joining the club for the season and has previously played cricket for Prospect, one of the leading clubs in South Australia, and most recently for Wednesbury in the Staffordshire League.
Stuart (pictured with Peter) said Peter is a 'top class batsman' and has been averaging 55 with the bat so far this season.
He told the Times: 'We lost a few players from last season so I took this opportunity to get Peter on the team and he will be with us until the end of August.'
