AUDITIONS for main characters ? three male and three female ? in a forthcoming West Devon Music Ministries production are being held throughout this month.
The Christian group are aiming to perform the musical ?Wildfire? at venues around the Okehampton area in November.
The first rehearsals took place last Thursday at Fairplace Church, Okehampton. Further rehearsals take place at the church on Thursday, May 15 and Thursday, May 22 at 12-noon and/or 7.30pm.
Rehearsals also take place at the Methodist Chapel, Iddesleigh, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month ?beginning on May 13, and May 27 at 7.30pm.
Last Christmas, the Christian performers staged five successful performances of ?While Shepherds Watched? in a number of community venues.
Wildfire is described as a musical that ?will inspire you and everyone you know?.
And if you don?t want to tread the boards or sing, there is still the chance to join in by constructing the set, designing the costumes or working the lighting and many other jobs besides.
