CHILDREN living on the Giblands estate in Okehampton launched themselves over a 27-foot inflatable assault course as part of a fun day organised by Okehampton Baptist Church.
During the fun day on Saturday, September 27, there was a series of team events, involving mums as well as members of the Baptist Church.
Adding to the excitement, there were also quizzes plus goodie bags to ensure nobody went away empty-handed.
The fun day was organised by the Rev Derek Hayward and his wife Frances. They were assisted by church member Reg Harnell, and Linda Butt and husband Jim, from Rainbow Pre-school playgroup.
Mr Hayward said the event was appreciated by all the residents who joined in. He said the event took place with the kind permission of West Devon Borough Council, and wanted to give a special thanks to resident David Bird, who saved the day when a generator was needed.
