ARTISTS from South Zeal, Sticklepath and Okehampton are joining with other members of Chagford Art Group for their annual exhibition which runs from Tuesday August 7 until Saturday August 11. The exhibition is being staged at Chagford's Jubilee Hall, next to the town car park, and will open daily from 10am until 5pm. Members of the group range from amateurs to semi-professionals. Around 250 of their works will be on display, including oils, watercolours, gouache and pastels. Artists will be in the hall every day to talk about their work with visitors. Chagford Art Group meets each week. It is based at the Chagford Cricket Pavilion, but tries to have outdoor meetings at a variety of locations as often as possible. The group has been running for 25 years, with an emphasis on helping to develop talent through shared consideration of members' work.
