THE TAMAR Valley Centre is hosting an exhibition 'Harvesting Time' by the Drawn to the Valley art group until October 31.
Harvesting Time has encouraged artists to explore their heritage and listen to people who live and work in the valley, to stimulate the creation of pieces of work which respond to sustainability, ecological and environmental issues.
The exhibition is a collaboration between the art group and the Tamar Valley AONB's Cordiale Project.
Drawn to the Valley member Tessa Clarke explained the thought process behind the exhibition: 'Think about how the Tamar Valley might be in another 100 years. What will still be here? Do we appreciate how the land has supported us and are we prepared to protect our heritage?
'Artists can help people to answer these questions. They can tell the stories of the past in a different way.'
Drawn to the Valley has a membership of more than 160 artists and craftspeople who all draw their inspiration from the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
